Middlesex County OPP were busy Tuesday morning helping to contain a large liquid fertilizer spill southeast of London.

Crews were called to the intersection of Dingman Drive and Westchester Bourne after 9 a.m. when a small crack in a container was found.

Nearly 3,800 litres of fertilizer is believed to have leaked from the tank.

The Ministry of the Environment has been called in to investigate.

But provincial police say there was never any threat to human life.
