Wildly varying temperatures and conditions in this week's forecast
The region is set to experience a weather roller coaster this week, with temperatures swinging wildly, rain, fog and snow squalls.
We’re off to a mild start, “Waking up to fog first thing Tuesday morning – another mild day, melting conditions across the region,” said CTV Meterologist Julie Atchison.
The mild weather that turned several feet of snow into ice is not to last though, “Plus one with a risk of flurries and snow squalls by Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night, cold air pouring back in over the great lakes, temperatures drop.”
A similar weather pattern dumped several feet of snow on southwestern Ontario just last week.
If you’re hitting the road on Thursday, don’t forget your fuzzy socks, “flurries, gusty winds, blowing snow, the high? Minus seven,” remarked Atchison.
This week will certainly keep everyone on their toes, “This is a forecast one to watch for sure in terms of an up and down weather pattern,” she said.
Here's a look at the latest forecast
