The fun of street hockey was on display at London's Victoria Park on Saturday.

Hundreds of hockey lovers celebrated the game at the huge Play On four on four tournament.

"You're with all your friends and I think competition is fun and its also getting you ready for the season too," says one member of the Pink Panthers girls team.

"Its a nice way to end the year with your friends," she added.

Play On filled the park with teams and players of all ages.

This is the seventh annual tournament and over one million Canadians have 'taken back the streets' participating in this event coast to coast.

"Teams travel from around the province to come to London, even if they've played in other tournaments," says Terri-Lyn Finley of Play On.

Teams came from as far away as Brampton and Sarnia.
