Saugeen Shores police are investigating after an armed robbery at the McDonald's location at 278 Goderich Street in Port Elgin early Monday morning.
Officials say a male dressed in black and wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a handgun entered the restaurant and demanded money from an employee.
The suspect received an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the store.
A search of the area involving Saugeen Shores police and OPP did not locate the suspect.
A store employee suffered minor injuries as a result of the robbery.
