London police say a man and a woman have been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in east London on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to Dundas Street near Lyle Stree around 4 p.m. for reports of a stabbing outside the TD Canada Trust.

Police say a 32-year-old man was confronted by people offering to sell him an electronic device after leaving the bank.

When he refused, the man was threatened with death and stabbed in the leg. He was treated in hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

Jennifer Degrace, 39 and 21-year-old Aaron Degrace, both of no fixed address were arrested a short time later and have been charged with robbery, uttering threats and aggravated assault.

Jennifer allegedly also provided a false name upon arrest and was in possession of property taken from vehicles. She is additionally charged with mischief – diverting suspicion and two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000.
