Another winter storm is on the way Wednesday. A winter storm watch is in effect stretching from Windsor through London, Oxford, Elgin, east to Niagara and Hamilton.

A special weather statement is in effect for the rest of southern Ontario as a large swath of snow is expected to set up shop over the southern part of the province.

Snow is expected to start Wednesday morning and continue through the day Thursday.

This storm will affect millions of people, bringing rounds of heavy snowfall and blowing snow.

Accumulations could climb between 20 cm and 30 cm, before easing off Friday morning.

Travel will be difficult, with the long duration of the storm.

In advance of the storm, temperatures will briefly warm above freezing Tuesday, and winds will pick up out of the south.

There is the chance for some light rain Tuesday night, before the transition to snow Wednesday morning.
