Stratford police are investigating a theft of copper wire from a construction site.
Sometime between Wednesday and Thursday, thieves stole roughly 1000 lbs. of copper wire from the site at 136 Ontario St.
The wire was cut and various diameters were taken.
Police also found more stolen cable hidden behind an adjacent building.
Anyone with information is asked to Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
