St. Thomas police have released the identity of a 58-year-old man who died in a fire on New Year’s Day.
The victim is Leonard T. Bradford, say police.
Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal are still on scene investigating the cause of the fire.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 1, police and firefighters responded to a house fire at 42 Moore St. in the city’s downtown area.
Emergency crews found a person in the residence, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
