South Bruce OPP seize nearly $700K in marijuana, plants
Provincial police say a search at a property northwest of Walkerton has led to charges for a 51-year-old Brockton man.
On Wednesday, several OPP teams executed a search warrant at a location on Bruce County Road 20 in Brockton.
As a result, police say marijuana plants, marijuana and cannabis resin with a combined estimated value of $687,000 was seized.
Equipment for the production of marijuana and cannabis resin, as well as trafficking equipment, were also seized.
A 51-year-old Brockton man was arrested in connection with the search.
He has been charged with production of marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, production of cannabis resin and possession of cannabis resin.
He was being held pending a bail hearing on Thursday.
