A drug warrant led South Bruce OPP to a marijuana grow op at a 4th St. SW property in Chesley on Tuesday.

Police seized marijuana plants, processed marijuana dna cannabis resin at the property with a combined estimated value of over $141,200.

Offence-related property, including marijuana production equipment valued at $450, was also seized.

As a result, 32-year-old Jason Sell, of Arran-Edlerslie Township, was arrested and charged with:

  • production of marijuana
  • possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
  • production of cannabis resin
  • possession of cannabis resin
  • four counts of failing to comply with conditions of a probation order
  • two counts of failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance

He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing.
