London police have a suspect in custody following a Tim Hortons robbery early Tuesday morning.

Around 3 a.m. that day, a man walked into the restaurant at 915 Commissioners Road East with a sledgehammer and took off with some cash.

No one was hurt.

Later that day, police noticed the suspect in the Dundas and Clarence area and arrested him.

A 25-year-old London man is charged with armed robbery, assault with a weapon and obstruct a peace officer.
