Sketch of suspect released in Zurich variety and bakery robbery

Huron County provincial police officers are hoping a sketch of a suspect will help after a robbery at the Zurich Variety & Bakery.

The incident took place on July 7, at approximately 7:45 p.m. at the bakery located at 57 Main Street.

Police say a lone male entered the store and demanded cash from the cashier. The male suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The person of interest is described as a white male, 5’ 10” to 6’0” tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue spandex balaclava, a black hoody sweatshirt, and black jogging pants.
