The second man of two suspects charged in relation to a home invasion robbery on White Oak Road on September 28th, 2016 has been arrested.

A Hamilton man, 29-year-old Jezreel Moxam, was taken into custody in Hamilton on Friday, November 4th, and returned to London. He has been remanded into custody and will appear in court on November 7th. The co-accused, Elias Akhi, was arrested on October 1st, and remains in custody.

Moxam and Akhi have been charged with forcible entry, robbery, and kidnapping, in addition to a number of other related offences, including firearms offences, in connection with the robbery that investigators believe was a targeted act, not a random event.

Police say two men armed with handguns forced their way into the home on White Oak Road and demanded valuables of the occupants. One man sustained minor injuries during the incident. Other occupants, including two children, a second man and a woman were unharmed. The woman was taken from the residence and driven to a location a short distance away, where she was released.
