Oxford County OPP say a search of a property in Zorra Township has resulted in three arrests and the seizure of various types of drugs.
The OPP's Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau / Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team and Oxford County Detachment members executed thea search warrant on 43rd Line around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police say they seized cannabis marijuana plants, marijuana bud, marijuana shake, unprocessed marijuana, cannabis resin, crack cocaine, percocet and methamphetamine with a combined street value of $290,000.
Three Zorra Township residents have been charged in connection with the seizure.
Kimberly LaCroix, 38, Jeffrey McRobert, 37 and Derrick Oldham, 32, have each been charged with:
- production of marijuana
- two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- three counts of possession of cannabis resin/cocaine/methamphetamine
- three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Lacroix and Oldham are additionally charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and Lacroix faces a fourth count of possession of a controlled substance.
They have all been held pending bail hearings scheduled for Thursday.
