Saskatoon man charged with murder in connection with April shooting

A 28-year-old man from Saskatoon has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Kade Lee, who was fatally shot in April 2024.

On April 16, 2024, at around 1 a.m., police were called to the scene of a shooting. Arriving officers found 25-year-old Kade Lee suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a release.

Lee was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. An autopsy confirmed him to be the victim of homicide.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of Avenue O South, although the initial report of the shooting was made in the 1500 block of 20th Street West.
