The former head of Sarnia’s fire department is now facing more than 60 sex-related charges after Sarnia police say they’ve charged him with nine more offences.

Police arrested Pat Cayen last week after becoming aware of another alleged victim.

He is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

Cayen appeared in court last Wednesday and was released with conditions.

He was first charged in 2012 and relieved of his duties as fire chief in January, 2013.

A publication ban was put in place by the courts prohibiting release of any information regarding the victim or the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861, ext. 5300.
