Police have released surveillance video in their search for suspects involved in a break in to a Habitat for Humanity trailer in Sarnia.

Investigators say thieves made off with over $7,000 worth of tools the charity uses when building homes in the community.

The theft happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday at the charity's ReStore location on London Line, where the trailer was parked.

It is a major loss to Habitat for Humanity and the organization is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

In a Tweet on Monday, Habitat for Humanity said this is the sixth break-in they have dealt with.

Anyon with information is asked to contact Sarnia police Service Det.-Const. Johann Lewis at 519-344-8861 ext. 6200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
