A 24-year-old Sarnia man is facing 120 criminal charges and Sarnia police say more may be pending.

He was arrested late last Monday at a home in the 400 block of South Russell Street where police say he was found allegedly committing a break and enter.

He was reportedly found in possession of property from the home, along with three knives, a razor blade and crystal methamphetamine.

After an extensive investigation the man was linked to two arsons in the city in November, one on South East Street on November 10th and one in the 300 block of South Palmerston Street on November 18th.

Both homes had been broken into prior to the arson, and he will face break and enter charges in those cases as well.

After a police search of the residence where the man was living on Confederation Street, property seized reportedly links the man to other break and enters as well as a robbery on November 16th at a Lansdowne Avenue home during which he was confronted by homeowners.

In that case, police say a male victim returning to the home was struck in the chest by a pellet fired from a BB gun. The victim and suspect wrestled until the accused escaped after threatening the victim with a knife.

The accused has been linked to a total of 12 break and enters dating back to August 1st, including homes in the south part of the city in October and November. Recovered property and has been identified by the owners.

The man is in custody and is scheduled to have a bail hearing on Thursday. His name is expected to be released once he is formally charged at the hearing.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
