London police say a gun and ammunition have been seized following the search of a Boullee Street home and a 16-year-old has been charged.
The London Police Service and the RCMP executed the warrant on Monday, and seized an Off Duty 38 Special five-shot revolver and ammunition.
A 16-year-old male is facing four criminal charges including:
- possessing of an unloaded regulated firearm
- unlicenced person possessing prohibited/restricted weapon
- store firearm carelessly
- store ammunition carelessly
Police say the teen was held in custody on an unrelated matter and a warrant has been prepared for his arrest on the above charges.
