Police have charged a London man after an iPhone was found in a unisex staff washroom at a fast food restaurant.

On Monday, police received a report that an employee at the restaurant had placed a recording device in the unisex washroom, after a staff member found an iPhone in the room.

The washroom was not accessible to the public.

On Tuesday, 29-year-old Curtis Mt. Pleasant was arrested and charged with secretly observe/record person expecting privacy.

A warrant was also executed at his home and police say several electronic devices were seized and an investigation continues in connection with those items.

Mt. Pleasant has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court in March.
