OPP say a 20-year-old from Port Rowan is facing several counts of child pornography-related charges.

The charges follow a two-week investigation by the OPP's Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.

On Wednesday, OPP and Niagara police searched a home in Port Rowan - south of Tillsonburg - and another in St. Catharines.

As a result, five computer devices and other relevant items were seized, and police say some contained images of child sexual abuse.

Police say the accused was arrested at the St. Catharines address.

He is facing charges including; two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of make available child pornography, making child pornography and sending sexually explicit images without consent.

He is scheduled for a bail hearing in Simcoe on Wednesday.

The investigation is continuing.
