Police are warning residents of a door-to-door scam circulating mainly in south London.
Police have received reports from the public of people asking for donations to the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex (ASLM).
The ASLM says it does not engage in door-to-door solicitations.
The best way to handle such an encounter according to police, is to close the door and to contact police at 519-661-5670.
