Both OPP and the London Police Service are encouraging cyber safety awareness on International Safer Internet Day Tuesday.

With both cyberbullying and sexting growing concerns online, provincial police are encouraging youth and their families to 'T.H.I.N.K b 4 U Send' a message or photo.

They encourage people to ask themselves; Is it True? Is it Hurtful? Is it Illegal? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind?

If what you plan to put out in cyberspace doesn't meet those criteria, OPP say you may be breaking the law.

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is also encouraging parents of tweens and teens to discuss online safety with youth.

Resources to start a conversation can be found at saferinternetday.ca and protectchildren.ca.

Updates on online trends are available at cypertip.ca, where concerns about youth being sexually exploited can also be reported.
