Police are searching for a sexual assault suspect after, they say, a sex trade worker was attacked in a vehicle in St. Julian Park in east London.

The woman, who did not know the man, received minor injuries.

Police say she met the man along Hamilton Road at St. Julian Street around 2 a.m. and was driven to the park.

The suspect may be in his 30's, is of average build and of Middle Eastern descent, with a strong accent. He has longer-length dark, curly hair, has an unkepmt beard and is a smoker.

He was wearing black pants, a light-coloured sweatshirt and a black toque.

The vehicle is described as an older model (possibly mid-90's) four-door sedan, with a white or light-coloured exterior and darker trim or molding on the lower portion of the vehicle. The interior is a light colour, possibly tan, and is vinyl.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers.
