London Police are investigating a sexual assault in the city's northwest corner and looking for a Good Samaritan who helped the victim.
Police say a woman was jogging along the trail system in the area behind Acorn Crescent and Edgehill Crescent Tuesday night between 7:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. when she was grabbed and assaulted by an unknown person, causing minor injuries.
The victim was helped by an unidentified citizen at the scene.
The suspect is described as male, possibly wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
Police still want to speak to the person who came to the victim’s aid.
He is described as a white, male, 5'9" in his 50's, brown and grey mixed hair that is collar length.
He was wearing blue jeans and was carrying a white plastic bag.
