Police investigating shooting death on Oneida of the Thames First Nations
One person is dead after a shooting on the Oneida of the Thames First Nation.
Grieving family and friends arrived late Sunday afternoon after learning of the shooting at 1065 River Road.
Unconfirmed reports say a woman called police around 3 p.m. Sunday, saying a masked gunman entered the home and shot her 65-year-old husband.
The reports indicate the suspect the fled the scene.
Middlesex OPP and Oneida of the Thames First Nations Police are investigating but are releasing few details at this time.
