London police are investigating after a man in his thirties was killed early Monday morning following a collision involving a pedestrian downtown.

According to EMS emergency crews arrived on scene at York Street between Richmond and Clarence to find a 32-year-old man without vital signs after being struck by  an SUV. He was later pronounced dead on scene.

Two people within the SUV were not injured.

The collision occurred shortly after 2 a.m.

Information regarding the chain of events is scarce at this point, but an update from police is expected later Monday.
