Middlesex OPP officers have released the name of a 52-year-old man who died after falling off a roof.
He has been identified as Scott Patterson, of Southwest Middlesex.
Emergency crews responded to the incident on Longwood’s Road in Southwest Middlesex on Friday at 4:18 p.m.
Police say the man was working on a roof of a family property when a boom portion of a commercial truck fell. He was found unconscious at the scene and transported to a local hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The Ministry of Labour has been contacted and will be helping with the ongoing investigation.
