Oxford County OPP responded to a collision early Wednesday morning on Highway 2, west of 31st Line in Zorra Township.
Police say a westbound car crossed the centre line into the path of an eastbound tractor trailer.
As a result the driver of the car, 31-year-old Justin Van Asselt of Thamesford, was killed.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are continuing their investigation.
Highway 2/Road 68 between the 29th line and 33rd Line and the 31st Line between Road 66 and Road 74, were closed for several hours, but have since reopened.
