London police have confirmed the identity of the woman's body discovered in the Thames River near Thorndale.
Police say it was 58-year-old Carolynn George, who was reported missing and hadn't been seen since Saturday.
Members of the Middlesex County OPP, Emergency Response Team, the K9 Unit, and the Middlesex County Fire Department found the body Tuesday afternoon.
The discovery was made after OPP located a silver Mitsubishi Lancer parked on Rebecca and Thorndale Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre over the weekend.
The car belonged to George. An autopsy was conducted to confirm the identity of the body.
Police say no foul play is suspected.
