The pilot of a small plane was killed when it crashed Saturday afternoon in Puslinch Township.

On September 24, 2016 at 3:45 p.m., Wellington County OPP responded to the area of Watson Road south in Puslinch Township, where the ultralight plane was found badly damaged.

The lone occupant of the plane, 63-year-old Alfred Brunger of Waterloo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing with the assistance of Transportation Safety Board, OPP Forensic Identification services and the office of the coroner.
