St. Thomas Police arrested a man for allegedly trying to obtain narcotics with bogus prescriptions.

Police say a man entered a local pharmacy on October 15th, 2016 and showed the pharmacist a fraudulent doctor’s note for prescribed narcotics. The prescription was filled and the man returned two days later and again attempted to have a fraudulent prescription filled. At that time, the pharmacist became suspicious and attempted to verify the information. The suspect took back the prescription and left the store. The next day, the pharmacist received confirmation that the prescription was in fact fraudulent.

On Friday, October 28th, the man was arrested and charged with Uttering Forged Documents and Possession for the purpose of Trafficking. He was held for court and released with a future court date.
