One man is dead following a two-vehicle collision near Listowel late Friday evening.
Perth County OPP were called to scene on Highway 23 north of Line 84 just before 11 pm.
Police say a northbound Oldsmobile Intrigue slammed into the back of a northbound truck & trailer that had pulled onto the highway from Line 84.
The lone occupant of the Intrigue sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say he is 27-year-old Alex John Szabolwski of Wellington North Twp.
The truck driver, a 61-year-old man from Harriston, sustained minor injuries from the crash.
The investigation continues.
