A woman reported missing by her family amid concerns for her well-being has been located.

Claire Newman, 48, of Line 84 west of Trowbridge, had been reported missing by her family, and Perth County OPP were asking the public for help to find her.

She was located Friday, May 22, two days after going missing, by Waterloo Regional Police.

Newman’s 2007 red Dodge Ram pickup truck with a red topper on the box, bearing Ontario plate 9255FF was last seen at her residence at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

She is described as white, 5’4” tall, 135 pounds, with very long, wavy, dirty blonde / light brown hair and bangs covering her eyebrows.

Newman has an oval-shaped face with a light complexion, brown eyes and four piercings in each ear. She also has a mole in the centre of her chin.
