Pedestrian struck by transport in Goderich

LONDON, ONT -- Huron County OPP are on scene in Goderich where a pedestrian was struck by a transport truck.
Police say the pedestrian was struck by a tanker truck just after 8 a.m. on Bayfield Road (Highway 21).
They were taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries.
Bayfield Road is closed between Bennett Street East and Blake Street East while police investigate.
A reopening time is not known.
