A female pedestrian has died after a collision with a transport truck in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons in Sarnia, Ont. early Wednesday morning.

Sarnia police say the woman was pronounced dead at London Health Sciences later Wednesday.

Emergency responders were called to the lot at 1705 London Line around 6 a.m. for a collision and the female pedestrian was transported to Bluewater Health in critical condition.

The pedestrian and the male driver of the truck are both out of town residents.

A portion of the parking lot had been sealed off for the Sarnia police traffic branch investigation.
