Orgaworld Canada Ltd. in London is facing 10 charges for alleged offences under the Environmental Protection Act, according to the Ministry of Environment.

A ministry spokesperson says the charges were laid on Thursday and relate to discharging a contaminant, namely odour, and failing to comply with a condition of an Environmental Compliance Approval.

The ministry said the matter is before the courts and would make no further comment.

Orgaworld did not return phone calls.

In 2014, Orgaworld was fined $200,000 for odour emissions.
