LAMBTON COUNTY, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police say there were 11 reported collisions involving deer in Lambton, Ont., over the course of the weekend.

The OPP say there were no injuries reported in any of the crashes between Oct. 20 and 23, but they're reminding people to be mindful of wildlife while driving in rural areas.

They say the influx of crashes could be in part because of deer breeding and feeding patterns that cause deer to move around between areas.

Police are reminding drivers to be particularly cautious while driving at night, and to brake firmly if they spot an animal crossing the road rather than swerving to avoid it.
