LONDON, Ont. -- Provincial police have arrested one suspect but are searching for two others following a brazen home invasion south of Delhi Wednesday evening.

Police were called to an address on Charlotteville Road 10 just before 5 p.m. for a report of a violent home invasion.

Three suspects attended the address armed with a handgun and forced their way into a shop located on the property.

A resident was assaulted and suffered minor injuries. The three suspects then fled the area.

The suspects' vehicle was located at an address on Schafer Side Road where one person was taken into custody without incident.

The 33-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with break and enter, robbery using a firearm, uttering threats of death or bodily harm and several additional firearms counts.

Two other suspects have not yet been found.

A warrant has been issued for 38-year-old John Jacob Griffioen of Woodstock, Ont. He is described as white, about six feet tall, 185 pounds, medium build with short blond hair and blue eyes.

The third suspect is only described as female, about five feet four inches tall, heavier set, with dark hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a light-coloured shirt and dark pants.

Highway 3 was closed between Highway 59 and Schafer Side Road for approximately eight hours for the investigation.

Police say there is no threat to public safety at this time.
