Investigators remain at the scene of a homicide southeast of London, Ont., searching for clues in the death of a 51-year-old man.
On Monday, OPP searchers could be seen combing the side of the road along Westchester Bourne, near the Westminster Drive home where Robert St. Denis was found dead last Thursday.
OPP Sgt. Dave Rektor says, "The OPP Emergency Response Team, which is really well trained, highly skilled in evidence searches, are assisting...in looking for clues to this homicide. At this point the search continues, it is ongoing and it will take some time. "
Police responded to the scene in Thames Centre after receiving a 911 call Thursday morning, and that's when the body was discovered.
A post mortem was conducted in London on Friday, but no details have been released on the cause of death, whether a weapon was involved or on a possible suspect.
Rektor adds, "The Criminal Investigations Branch is looking over all aspects of this investigation, everything from post mortem to evidence found at the scene. They continue to pore over it and unfortunately it does take a long time to go through it before any announcements can be made."
Neighbours tell CTV News the family have lived at the home for more than a decade and kept to themselves.
A section of Westminster Drive remained blocked off Monday afternoon for the police investigation.
