A Sarnia man remains in critical condition in hospital, following a hit-and-run in Lambton County.

On Saturday, provincial police were called to the corner of Helena Street and St. Clair Street, around 11:30 p.m.  According to investigators, Aaron Levy, 29, of Sarnia was struck by a dark coloured pickup truck.

Levy has since been transported to London Health Sciences Centre, where he listed in critical condition.

Christopher Mackesy, 23, of Enniskillen Township has been arrested and charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision, involving bodily harm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, causing bodily harm.

Mackesy will appear in a Sarnia court on Dec. 22.
