Officials are investigating after fires at two abandoned residences, one northwest of Wallaceburg and another just north of London.

Lambton County OPP and the St. Clair Township Fire Department were called to the structure fire in the 400 block of Lambton Line shortly after 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police say no injuries were sustained as the building was abandoned. No damage estimate is available at this time.

Meanwhile around 5 a.m. on Sunday, Huron County OPP and crews from three fire departments were called to a vacant home on Park Road near Road 164.

The 150-year-old, two-storey farmhouse was engulfed before emergency crews arrived and was completely destroyed by the fire.

OPP Forensic Identification Services has been called in to assist. Again, no damage estimate has yet been released.

Anyone with information on these fires is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
