Two people were taken to hospital following an early morning collision on Elginfield Road at Denfield Road.
Just before 6:30 a.m. a Dodge minivan and transport truck collided at the intersection.
The transport truck rolled into a ditch on Elginfield as a result while the minivan suffered extensive damage. An unknown amount of diesel fuel was spilled as a result of the collision.
Police say the driver of the truck was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the minivan suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The intersection at Elginfield Road and Denfield Road remains closed while police continue to investigate the collision.
