A man killed after being struck by a tanker truck in whiteout conditions has been identified as 55-year-old Diamantino DaSilva of Etobicoke, Ont.
OPP say DaSilva was standing behind his south-facing car on Grey Road 8 on Saturday afternoon when he and the vehicle were struck by a soutbound tanker truck in the Township of Southgate.
DaSilva was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third vehicle, a northbound Honda CR-V, also collided with the tanker truck.
The driver of the tanker truck, a 59-year-old Port Elgin man and the man and woman, both from Southgate, in the CR-V were treated and released from hospital.
The investigation continues.
