The man killed last Thursday when his house caught fire died from smoke inhalation, authorities say.
James Greydanus, 55, was identified Monday as the victim of the fire at 114 Arthur Street in Trowbridge, south of Listowel.
He was the owner and lone resident of the property.
The Office of the Fire Marshal continues to investigate the fire, which destroyed the entire house.
