OPP are have taped off an area of Strathroy and have a heavy presence in the neighbourhood.
Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Park Street Wednesday afternoon.
Snipers are in position east of the Burns General Store, aiming at residence from across the street.
It's unclear what the issue is, but neighbours tell CTV News that they heard gunshots at one point.
The OPP Tactical Response Team along with the bomb squad and K9 Unit are all on scene.
