A truck driver who called Lambton OPP ended up being charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held device.
Police say on Monday afternoon they were alerted to an erratic driver in the westbound lanes of Highway 402.
Concerned citizens in another vehicle took a video and photographs of the tractor trailer allegedly veering in and out of the driving lane. Police say they were able to get images of the driver using a hand-held device atop his steering wheel.
The truck driver contacted police because he was being photographed.
OPP located both parties and following an investigation charged a 31-year-old man from North York with distracted driving,
