If the Ministry of Education and the union representing elementary school teachers don't reach a deal Sunday, the teachers could soon see their pay docked.

Premier Kathleen Wynne set November 1st as the deadline for the teachers to end their work to rule campaign.

She warned that if they didn't, the government would authorize the school board to dock their pay after five days' notice.

The teachers are protesting the lack of progress in contract talks by not participating in such things as field trips, school fundraising projects and the collection and distribution of paperwork.
