A man is dead and a woman was taken to hospital after a fire at an apartment on Currie Street late Thursday night.
Middlesex OPP and EMS as well as the Glencoe Fire Department were called to the scene around 10:40 p.m.
After the fire was put out, a man was found dead inside the residence. The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation but is expected to be fine.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been called in to help with the investigation into the cause of the blaze.
