A London man is facing several charges after two off-duty police officers noticed a car driving erratically early this morning.

Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, police say the pair watched a Honda Civic swerving all over the road, driving over the curb and hitting a snowbank, near Richmond and Dundas.

The two officers approached the vehicle while it was stopped at an intersection, but the driver slammed on the gas at a red light and drove off.

Police eventually caught up with man and arrested him.

Andrew Rollings, 23, is charged with impaired driving, failing to stop for police, running a red light and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
